There are small groups within the church that meet on a fairly regular basis such as the United Methodist Women and the United Methodist Men. However, the term "small group" is most usually associated with the Disciple-Covenant groups. These groups are composed of 6-12 people who meet together on a regular basis (usually weekly) to share together and covenant together for growth in their walk with God. We believe that growth in our personal relationship with God is best achieved when we as God's people intentionally do the Christian life together. This involves sharing with each other what God is doing in our lives, setting measurable goals for each individual's growth, and encouraging each other as we walk together.
