Community Mission Projects

We believe that God has placed us within this community to  help meet the needs of the people.  The church's  primary role is meeting spiritual needs because a strong relationship with Jesus Christ is the foundation for fulfilling all other needs a person might have. However, we also know that Jesus calls us to minister to physical needs as well. One way in which we do this is through community mission projects. We have built access ramps, repaired drainage problems, fixed roof leaks, etc; all for people who do not have the means to see to these needs themselves. We combine the physical labor with a lunch that we prepare and bring to share with the individual or family. In this way, our work is both material and enjoyably relational as well.
